Just one of a new series of Debbie's Love Note Doodle Series.
Over the last 14 years I have carried a series of drawing pads taking them with me where ever we traveled. Being an artist that has participated in over 500 art shows across the country you can imagine these drawing books came in handy. Needless to say I have spent a huge amount of time traveling from show to show across the country and have accumulated hundreds of drawings, doodles, poetry, sketching, studies...I love all of them and realized a few months ago that I could never possibly paint all of these ideas in one lifetime. So last year I started transferring the drawings on these little 8 x 8 Canvases and whenever I had some extra time on my hands I would paint them. Sometimes it would be at 6 am, sometimes at midnight, sometimes in my studio sometimes in Santa Rosa at my Cousin Annie’s. Whenever the mood struck I would work on them. Each original painting has a story and was inspired by my mood or my current life’s adventure.
