The Artist’s Interpretation:
The Destiny of Love, an enchanting, romantic Tuscan Landscape, celebrating a couple’s union of love. The deep red poppies are like a passionate tickle for the soul’s eye. The misty mountain top is like a dreamy comforter for the heart.
A couple, wandering in ancient vineyards in a field of passion, a church off in the distant hills, a rebirth of their commitment of romance, rekindling of love’s passion and true friendship.
As an artist I am fascinated by many artists, but some I have a personal connection to. VanGogh is one of those that touch me deeply. Of course sunflowers & irises are his signature flowers & early on in my art career, people would constantly tell me that my flowers & even some hearts reminded them of Van Gogh. Sunflowers represent so many spiritual things to me, mainly, "gift giving".
This piece is my homage to VanGogh, my soul brother.
